About me

Hi, my name is Natasha and I am a Psychotherapist based in South West London.

Seeking help can often seem difficult or challenging, especially if you do not know where to look, or who to look for. I want to acknowledge your courage to start this journey of healing and understanding yourself better by looking for someone on here who could help you. It is a huge step that you have decided to take, and for that I congratulate you.

You may have decided to seek therapy due to feeling low, lifeless, numb, or depressed. You may have decided to come due to having anxiety, fears, or because you are finding it difficult to manage stresses in your life. You may have decided to seek therapy as you are having a relationship breakdown(s), suffering with grief, or feeling a huge sense of loss in your life. You may have decided to seek support as you feel stuck in life, feel overwhelmed, or just want to break out and start those changes. Or it may be something else. Whatever you are finding difficult in your life, want to overcome, or would like to make more sense of, I am here for you.

I am an integrative therapist whose main purpose is to support you through exploring yourself and your issues in a warm and compassionate environment, and with absolutely no judgement. I use various approaches using aspects of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Compassion-Focused Therapy and potentially some shadow work to help you in resolving any emotional distresses, blockages, or patterns of behaviours you may have, and to improve your overall mental health. My sessions are therefore led and guided by you and whatever you decide to talk about or bring to your session. I will focus on how you are feeling in the present moment and then work with you to explore if you ever felt like this in the past, and how past experiences or traumas may be causing your present-day situation. I strongly believe that by focusing on the past and working through specific experiences and traumas, we are then able to understand better our current behaviours, choices, moods, and ultimately our thought patterns. By working with me, I hope you will be able to feel heard and seen, strengthen or improve compassion towards yourself, and heal or grow emotionally or spiritually.

I offer short-term and long-term work through weekly online sessions.

If you have any questions around working with me, please feel free to email with your enquiries or to book an initial 30min phone/online consultation that is free of charge.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and a BACP member. I have worked with teenagers for six years whilst at a Sixth Form in London supporting them not only with their day-to-day educational and pastoral needs but also with their mental health.

I have knowledge and experience working with anxiety, depression, suicidal idealogy, low self-esteem, LGBTQ+ and sexuality, trauma, PTSD, grief and bereavement, loss, sexual abuse, guilt, and negative core beliefs. I also have experience working cross-culturally, internationally, and with individuals from a range of diverse backgrounds.

Alongside being qualified as an intergrative Psychotherapist, I am a Mental Health First Aider, and I also have been awarded:

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
