About me
I guide driven individuals like you to rediscover their inner strength and create a life of greater meaning and joy. I offer evidence-based and integrative therapeutic interventions to help you understand your inner world and cultivate deep resilience.
With clinical experience in the NHS and private practice, including a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych) and specialized trauma training, I offer compassionate and insightful support for your journey.
If you have a specific issue you want to focus on that is not mentioned, we can explore the possibility of working together - contact me or book a free consultation.
Beyond my qualifications, I'm also a wife and mum who values connection and creates a safe space for your vulnerability. When I'm not working, you'll find me enjoying the simple things in life with my family in Swansea.
Location
I offer online therapy (e.g. via Zoom/Skype) and/or telephone sessions
Length of Therapy
Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly for 50 minutes. I also offer monthly 90-minute sessions for those seeking less intensive support.
We can decide the number of sessions in the initial consultation, but you can change your mind about this at any point. We can work in a short-term focused, and goal-orientated way or open-ended and exploratory way.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with 9 years of experience providing therapy within the NHS and private healthcare. I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council (Registration No. PYL042182).
I studied at the University of Reading and the University of East London:
- Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych)
- Master of Science in Clinical and Community Psychology (MSc)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Trauma Focused CBT (PGCert)
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSc)

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I also offer Christian faith-based therapy for those seeking a more holistic approach. As a Christian, you might feel hesitant about therapy, worried it may not respect your faith. My approach is different. I offer a safe and supportive space where your spirituality is honored and integrated into your healing journey. Together, we'll explore how your beliefs can be a source of strength as you work towards emotional and spiritual well-being.
