I am a bilingual Spanish-English psychodynamic counsellor located in Hertfordshire. I offer both in-person sessions locally and online sessions to clients across the nation.

I have experience helping clients with stress, anxiety, family conflicts, divorce, loss and grief, panic attacks, depression, illness, relationship issues and dealing with life changes.

Spanish-speaking clients often find it more comfortable to express their thoughts and feelings in their native language, which can lead to a more productive and effective therapeutic experience.

I provide a caring and compassionate space with the aim of helping you find more effective ways to resolve issues and concerns that are negatively impacting your life. 

I specialise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a method that helps individuals enact meaningful changes in their lives. This approach delves into the root causes of current challenges, often tracing them back to unresolved past events. Many clients may not initially see the connection between past experiences and present difficulties. Through psychodynamic counselling, I guide individuals to uncover and understand these hidden influences, empowering them to achieve greater autonomy in their thoughts and actions.

Counselling offers an opportunity to slow down and step out of a busy life into a safe space created just for you. 

I am a culturally sensitive and affirming counsellor with a gentle style. I am fully committed to a strict code of ethics in line with BACP. 

• I offer a free of charge 30 minute initial consultation to answer questions and to explore the aims of therapy.  
• Counselling sessions are held weekly, on the same day and time and will last 50 minutes, cost £60.
• The first session, paid in advance, will last 60 minutes and cost £65. This session will be slightly more structured. We will talk about you and I will ask a few questions so that I get to know you and your situation better. 
• Depending on your needs I offer short, or long term counselling.
• A 24 hour cancellation notice is required in order to avoid the charge for the missed session.
• If you are unable to attend, I will make reasonable efforts to accommodate alternative times, and in extenuating circumstances cancel the session without charge to you.

Face to face sessions are being held at the Wheathampstead Well-being Centre located in the same building as Brewhouse Coffee, with easy access from Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, and St Albans.
