About me

Accessing therapy can be a daunting experience, reaching out is the first step. I welcome you to contact me. As a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist, with a warm manner, I cater my approach to fit the needs of the client.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a talking therapy effective for addressing deep issues and enabling long term change, leading to a more fulfilling life.

We will work together to explore the reason behind you wanting therapy and give you the space to unpack things that may be troubling you, or simply to get to know yourself better.

I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, complex trauma, neuro-diversity and abuse. However, my focus is on the individual rather than a diagnosis.

** I currently have a limited number of lower fee/concession spaces available, price is negotiable upon discussion.**

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a postgraduate clinical qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Having studied at WPF and qualified with the BPF (British Psychotherapy Foundation).   I also sit on the board of trustees at the BPF www.britishpsychotherapyfoundation.org.uk/about-bpf/bpf-board/

I am a registered member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytical Council).

I am also a professional member of the FPC (Foundation of Psychotherapy and Counselling).

I am passionate about mental health in general and also work at a mental health charity.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BPC
British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.

BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
