About me

Life can present us with many challenges and perhaps you’ve arrived at a place where you feel stuck and need support in finding a way through. Feeling sad, alone, anxious, or confused, can affect all of us.

I can offer you a safe place to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours at a time in your life when you might be overwhelmed or not know where to go next.

With the right counsellor, you can feel listened to and understood and start to recognise what’s holding you back from living more positively and fully.

I am an integrative psychotherapist. This means that I am trained in a number of counselling and psychotherapeutic practices which I am able to draw on in order to personalise my approach to you and your individual needs. Together we can work on finding a way forward.

I have experience in working with:

Anxiety, low mood and depression, lack of confidence, bereavement, stress, change and loss, burnout, career and redundancy/retirement, parenting, pre and post pregnancy, infertility and miscarriage, menopause, family and relationship issues, anger management, suicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse, trauma, and neurodiversity in particular ADHD.

Reaching out is a brave first step and not an easy one. You deserve to do this for yourself and I would be delighted to talk to you in the first instance to see if you feel we can work together. Please feel free to get in touch. I offer you an initial free 15 minute phone or Zoom call and we can go from there.

I offer weekly sessions of 50 minutes for both short-term counselling and longer-term therapeutic work, in-person or online.

I see clients in person in Ladbroke Grove W10, Wimpole Street W1, and online via Zoom.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
