About me

You may be struggling with anxiety, or a constant sense of worry and overthinking that feels difficult to switch off. You might be experiencing depression, low mood, emotional exhaustion, or feeling overwhelmed and stuck in patterns that are affecting your daily life.

Some of the people I work with are living with ADHD, neurodivergence, or difficulties with focus, organisation, emotional regulation, or burnout. Others are experiencing  intrusive thoughts and compulsions, or finding that anxiety is taking up a lot of mental and emotional space.

You may also be dealing with the impact of trauma, whether recent or from earlier life experiences, or finding that past events continue to affect how you feel and respond today. I also support clients experiencing separation anxiety, family issues, relationship difficulties, or ongoing strain within close connections.

Many clients also come to me for support with bereavement and grief, or more general mental health difficulties when they are not fully sure what is wrong but know they are not feeling like themselves.

My aim is to offer a space where we can begin to understand what is happening beneath these experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

How I work
I offer a calm, supportive, and collaborative space where you can talk openly without judgement. I work integratively, which means I adapt my approach to suit your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

We may explore:

What is maintaining your anxiety, depression, or overwhelm
How past experiences may be influencing how you feel now (including trauma)
Thought patterns linked to OCD, GAD, or low mood
Emotional regulation and coping strategies for ADHD-related challenges
Relationship patterns and family dynamics that feel difficult or stuck
The pace is guided by you, and we work in a way that feels manageable and safe.

Who I work with
I support adults who may be:

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or constant worry
Living with ADHD or neurodivergent traits
Struggling with intrusive thoughts or compulsive behaviours
Processing trauma or difficult past experiences
Experiencing grief or loss
Navigating family or relationship difficulties
Feeling emotionally “stuck” or disconnected
You don’t need to have a clear diagnosis or label to begin counselling — many people come because they simply know something doesn’t feel right.

What you can expect
You can expect a consistent, grounded therapeutic relationship where you are heard and taken seriously. Together, we work towards:

Understanding your emotional patterns
Reducing anxiety and overwhelm
Improving emotional regulation
Processing past experiences safely
Building coping strategies that feel realistic in everyday life

What happens when you get in touch
If you decide to contact me, I usually respond within 24–48 hours. We can arrange a short initial session where you can talk about what’s bringing you to counselling and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

There is no pressure to continue — it’s simply a chance to see if the space feels right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
