About me
It can be very difficult reaching out for support when you are having a tough time, and so my aim is to help you feel as safe and relaxed as possible while doing so. Our sessions will be taken at your pace, where we will work together towards overcoming whatever challenges you are facing.
I am LGBTQ+ friendly and have experience in working with anxiety, low mood, self harm, anger management, ADHD, gender identity, career difficulties, eating disorders, abuse, trauma, terminal illness, military and people in the justice system. Outside of running my own practice, I am also a Counselling Trainer in a further education setting.
I am currently able to offer sessions either in person, online, phone or email.
If you have any questions, or would like to get a feel for whether I am the right counsellor for you, then please feel free to text, email or book a free introduction call.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor working in the Oxfordshire area. My qualification is in integrative counselling with a Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA), which means I am able to adapt the sessions to a style that would be most beneficial for you.
I have experience working with children and young people as well as adults and have a special interest in working with childhood trauma and postnatal depression. I am also LGBTQ+ friendly.
Qualifications:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
