About me
I am compassionate, understanding, and non-judgemental person. I have a very positive approach to life, but I also have a great understanding of how the stress of everyday problems or passed traumatic experiences, can bring us down. I can help you to make the positive changes and become free from negative thoughts, habits, and behavior patterns.
I specialize in general self-esteem issues, building confidence, stress, anxiety, low-moods, depression, PTSD. I am also trained to work with victims of domestic abuse, bereavement, and many other issues.
I work with you to gain an understanding of your challenges and goals, in safe and caring environment, to provide personalised therapy for you. During our sessions we will explore your past, present, and future; using a core model and a lot of different techniques and skills, which will help you to heal, resolve your issues, and achieve your goals. I will help you to come up with your own conclusions to promote new healthy habits and redirect limiting thinking.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have Diploma Level 5 Professional in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Additionally, I also have Cache Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Domestic Abuse; and I have been working with victims of domestic abuse nearly three years for the local charity. I also have been working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues.
I consider myself to be a pluralistic counsellor. Although, I mainly use Person-Centred Approach; I also combine other approaches like: Humanistic Approach, Psychodynamic Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Integration, Congestive Behavioral Therapy.
I have a great understanding of mindfulness and nearly five years of experience in hypnotherapy.
