About me

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety? Is the anxiety stopping you  living your life? Do you have racing thoughts? difficulty concentrating/irritability? Is the anxiety affecting your sleep and overall mood? Are your relationships feeling strained, are you feeling resentful and angry, do you feel stuck and miserable?

Life brings many challenges and it is understandable that at times we might look for support with someone from outside our day-to-day life. Talking to someone who listens without judgment can bring clarity and empower you to make positive changes in your life.

Have you been affected by Bereavement; Grief can be a complicated journey, and it's ok to not have it all figured out, it's normal to feel overwhelmed, angry, guilty, empty and lost and a whole range of other emotions. Including total confusion.

As a trained bereavement counsellor, I help my clients work there way through the confusion. Together we can explore your feelings, emotions and memories. There are often moments of genuine laughter and smiles as you reminisce about your loved one. And clients often tell me "It feels good to talk".

I work with clients from all walks of life,  sessions are tailored to your needs. We can  focus on specific goals if that is how you like to work or  we can explore whatever might be impacting your life, and together, we can achieve successful outcomes. I'm here to help you every step of the way.

I understand how hard it is to ask and seek help with a counsellor. You have taken a brave step.

I am a  warm and friendly Person-Centred counsellor, I offer a confidential and judgement-free space.  I will act as a guide and facilitator, helping you gain insight and self-awareness. I will be there to support you and together, we can explore and unravel whatever troublesome thoughts, feelings or emotions, you may have.

Counselling isn’t about giving you advice but empowering you to make your own changes so you can live the life that you choose.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. I work with clients from all walks of life with a diverse range of difficulties.

If you’re ready to embark on this journey, I’m here to help you along the way.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
