About me

Living with anxiety and depression can make every day feel like an uphill battle. That feeling that sits in the pit of your stomach, the constant negative voice in your head.

Relationships  might feel strained, resentment and anger might be building up inside you. You might be feeling frustrated, stuck and totally miserable.

Would you like to change how you feel?

Bereavement; it's the one inevitable experience we all share, yet no amount of preparation can shield us from the flood of emotions that follow.

Are you feeling lost in the depths of grief after losing a loved one? it's normal to feel overwhelmed, angry, guilty, empty and lost and a whole range of other emotions. Including total confusion.

As a trained bereavement counsellor, I specialise in guiding individuals like you through the darkest days. Together we can explore your feelings, memories, and emotions. From moments of genuine laughter and smiles as you reminisce about your loved one.

Honoring and remembering your loved one should not come with guilt. Through our sessions, you will find a way to cherish their memory while also rediscovering joy in your own life.

Life brings many challenges and it is understandable that at times we might look for support with someone from outside out day-to-day life. We all get thrown lemons, we are just not always sure how to turn into lemonade.

I work with clients from all walks of life,  sessions are tailored to your needs. We can  focus on specific goals if that is how you like to work or  we can explore whatever might be impacting your life, and together, we can achieve successful outcomes. I'm here to help you every step of the way.

I understand how hard it is to ask and seek help with a counsellor. You have taken a brave step.

I am a  warm and friendly Person-Centred counsellor, I offer a confidential and judgement-free space.  I will act as a guide and facilitator, helping you gain insight and self-awareness. I will be there to support you and together, we can explore and unravel whatever troublesome thoughts, feelings or emotions, you may have.

Counselling isn’t about giving you advice but empowering you to make your own changes to live your life on your terms.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. I work with clients from all walks of life with a diverse range of difficulties.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
