About me
Change is an unavoidable part of life sometimes. Maybe you have had a major change that has pulled the rug from under you, and you may be feeling, sad, scared, anxious, angry, guilty, jealous, ashamed or it might be that you are finding the change difficult to accept.
Does your life feel like a big jumbled up mess at the moment. Maybe you’re feeling really confused, depressed and anxious by the changes that have happened in your life, perhaps this change has left you feeling unsafe and insecure. This change may have impacted other relationships. Do you feel like this change has knocked you’re confidence, leaving you with a feeling of I don’t trust myself?
If this sounds like you then call me, my name is lynda and I love working with clients who are going through changes, wanted or unwanted. My clients inspire me all the time, they work through some real tough things and find their own answer and meaning for a life that is right for them. The best part of my job is watching my clients take baby steps to find another way to live their life in a world that changed forever for them.
Whatever your struggles, no matter how big or small you think they are I am here to support and guide you through the confusion that you might be experiencing.
In our confidential sessions, we'll work through your thoughts and feeling, helping you untangle past experiences and navigate current challenges. With practical strategies and supportive guidance, you'll gain clarity, resilience and the tools needed to feel more in control of your life.
We can focus on goals if that is how you like to work or we can explore whatever might be impacting your life, and together, work towards a happier version of you.
I understand how hard it is to ask for help, and even harder to decide what counsellor is right for you. To see if I am right for you I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation this will give you a chance to get a feel for me and to ask any questions you may have about the service I offer.
I offer sessions either face to face, zoom or telephone which ever way you feel would work best for you.
If you’re ready to start on this journey, I’m here to help you along the way.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
