About me
Hello, it's good to meet you here. I'm Louise, an Integrative Therapist offering a warm, steady, and welcoming space where you can feel listened to, supported, and gently held in whatever you’re going through.
My approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity, we work together at your pace, exploring what matters most to you in a way that feels safe and manageable.
As an Integrative Therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic models to shape our sessions around your unique needs. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, identity questions, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I aim to meet you exactly where you are.
I am trauma-informed, with a particular interest in supporting people who have experienced sexual violence or non recent abuse. While this is a meaningful part of my work, it does not define my whole practice — I welcome people with a wide range of concerns, and many come to me without a trauma background at all.
Alongside this, I am currently a Trainee Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, and I also work with a variety of sexual presentations, offering a safe and open space to explore topics that can often feel difficult and taboo to talk about, I also work with kink, fetish, compulsive sexual behaviours, pornography and offenders.
I am a registered member of the BACP, and I attend regular supervision and ongoing CPD to ensure my work remains ethical, reflective, and grounded in current best practice.
People often describe me as gentle, warm, and easy to talk to. I believe that healing grows from feeling truly seen and understood, and that even small steps forward can lead to meaningful change over time.
If you’re wondering whether therapy might help, or you’d like to get a sense of how we might work together, I’m happy to offer an initial conversation.
I work in an LGBTQ+ affirmative way, and whatever your background, culture or identity. You are welcome here, just as you are.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
When you contact me via email or telephone we will have a brief consult, I will then send you my current availability, once we have agreed on a date and time I will send you a zoom link or we can have a telephone call.
I offer an initial introductory session for 50 minutes to discuss the nature of your needs, and to see what you are seeking from counselling and to understand how best I can support you on your counselling journey. This is also the opportunity for you to get to ask questions, get to understand how I work and how we would work together.
We would also discuss the next steps in counselling/therapy and what that would look like, including day and time of sessions if we decide to work together.
We would then arrange a regular time to meet either online or face to face. I offer both open ended and short term therapy as I believe you have autonomy. I believe each person grows and develops at their own pace, and it is your choice when you choose to end therapy. I would however recommend a minimum of six sessions to get a real feel of the process.
