About me

Life has a funny way of throwing things at us when we really don't need them.  We have enough going on - just with everyday things life work, Family life and relationships etc. When something goes wrong it's bad enough, but when several things happen at once.....we begin to struggle.  Sometimes we don't want to show that we're struggling - and we muddle on....then more things happen....and before we know it.....we are overwhelmed - and what started as one problem is now unmanageable.  It's now more difficult than ever to confide in family or friends...or you might be worried that they are fed up listening to your 'moans'.

Sometimes we need help just to help ourselves to navigate our way through the muddle.

This is where I come in.  My job is to help you to help yourself unravel all the muddle and to help you to separate it down into manageable pieces.  My job is to help you to 'offload' some of that burden.  My job is to listen, and to HEAR you.  Everything discussed in my Counselling Room is entirely confidential.  My job is also to help you to learn about the tools required to be able to move forward with more confidence for the future.

Age is no issue in my Counselling Room.  I have worked with Primary School aged children and I have worked with elderly people.

I also offer online sessions as well as face to face...and if health issues stop you from being able to come to me...then I will come to you (As long as within a reasonable distance)

I am fully insured and all of my certificates are available to view if required.

I attend monthly supervision.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
