About me
I'm a Clinical Psychologist & EMDR therapist with 9 years experience working with individuals (adults and young people) experiencing a wide-range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and trauma.
As a Clinical Psychologist,I provide highly specialist assessment and psychological therapy tailored to your individual needs and goals. I tend to work in an integrative way, often utilising techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and EMDR.
Alongside my private practice, I currently work within an NHS hospital supporting NHS staff members who may be struggling with their mental health both at home or at work. I have previously worked in a variety of NHS services including pain management clinics and community mental health services. I have a specialist research interest in PTSD and trauma.
I offer a free initial telephone consultation to discuss your individual needs and answer any questions you might have. To arrange this or for any further information please don't hesitate to contact me via email on laurengrainger@protonmail.com.
