About me

I'm an Integrative Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist bringing together a variety of approaches and techniques that will be specific to my work with you. I also work as a Transpersonal psychotherapist if you are looking to go deeper into yourself through creative exercises, visualisations and mindfulness techniques. I help you process the work you have come to therapy for and help you figure out what you might need to make changes to cope with the issues you are experiencing. My aim is to facilitate an understanding of what’s going on for you and look at root causes that may have led to thought patterns and beliefs you are holding onto today. I have a strong sense of emotional intelligence and meet you where you are in a manner that is comfortable for you. Although my role is to listen and hold you through your process which I do, I also offer tools and ideas to help you deal with what you are suffering from right now. I work with performing artists and public figures from all over the world and also offer online and telephone sessions. In the UK I work in Notting Hill.

Fee: £200 per session

Previously I have successfully run my own company for 13 years which enables me to combine my ICF PCC level accredited coaching and psychotherapy for a more structured approach for those seeking relational or structural help www.kristinakennedycoaching.com. I offer a non-judgmental, safe and contained space where all presenting issues and feelings are welcomed. Amongst others I work with anxieties, relationships, divorce and the divorce process, confidence issues, negative mindsets, bereavement, loneliness, insecurities, work relationships, negative beliefs, bullying.

I hold Diplomas and Degrees in Communications, Coaching, Executive Function Skills, EMDR and Early Years Montessori Pedagogy. Working with me requires consistent weekly sessions and total honesty and confidentiality. Non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) are normally signed on request.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
