About me

Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship challenges, or trauma? In my practice as a UKCP MBACP Dip. Psych. Integrative Psychotherapist, I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where all presenting issues are welcome. My approach is both supportive and challenging, helping you identify and break free from limiting beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you.

An integrative approach in psychotherapy combines techniques and theories from all the major schools of psychotherapy, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), humanistic, Gestalt, existential, and somatic therapies, among others. This method allows for a flexible and personalised treatment plan, drawing on the most appropriate therapeutic models to address each individual's unique challenges. By blending elements from various approaches, integrative therapy ensures that the most effective tools are used to support deep healing and growth, based on the specific needs of the client.

While I work with individuals from all backgrounds, I am particularly renowned for my work with performing artists, public figures, and senior professionals, helping them navigate challenges like imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, relationships and leadership stress. My international background also equips me with a deep understanding of intercultural issues.

Drawing on models such as EMDR, Relationship Psychology, Executive Function Skills, Somatic Healing, Consciousness and Mindfulness Skills, I tailor each session to meet your specific needs.  Together, we will work to uncover the root causes of your struggles, breaking free from lifelong, conscious and subconscious patterns, empowering you to move forward with a fresh perspective on your life that truly aligns with your goals and well-being. It’s about creating a path to healing and finding a more fulfilling, happier future that better serves you.

Sessions are £150

My face-to-face clinic is in London Notting Hill, UK and I also offer sessions online and via telephone.

I also offer bespoke corporate packages for in-house work and leadership-focused speaking engagements. For more information, visit https://www.kristinakennedytherapy.com/

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
