About me

I'm an Integrative Psychotherapist bringing together a variety of approaches and techniques that will be specific to my work with you. I also work as a Transpersonal psychotherapist if you are looking to go deeper into yourself through creative exercises, visualisations and mindfulness techniques. I help you process the work you have come to therapy for and help you figure out what you might need to make changes to cope with the issues you are experiencing. My aim is to facilitate an understanding of what’s going on for you and look at root causes that may have led to thought patterns and beliefs you are holding onto today. I have a strong sense of emotional intelligence and meet you where you are in a manner that is comfortable for you. I understand how unsettling it may feel to start therapy so I offer an initial phone call or meeting in person for you to get a feel for what it would be like to work with me. Although my role is to listen and hold you through your process which I do, I also offer tools and ideas to help you deal with what you are suffering from right now. I work with high performing clients and public figures from all over the world and also offer Skype and telephone sessions. In the UK I work in London’s Notting Hill, Mayfair and Hampshire.

Fee: £100 per session

Previously I have successfully run my own company for 13 years which enables me to combine coaching and psychotherapy for a more structured approach for those seeking relational or structural help www.kristinakennedycoaching.com. I offer a non-judgmental, safe and contained space where all presenting issues and feelings are welcomed. I hold Diplomas and Degrees in Communications, Coaching, Executive Function Skills and Early Years Montessori Pedagogy. Working with me requires consistent weekly sessions and total honesty and confidentiality. Non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) are normally signed on request.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
