About me
I am an integrative transpersonal Psychotherapist and Coach, working with adults (18+) and couples. I also run groups and workshops to help teams run more successfully in the workplace and blended families come together cohesively in the domestic space.
What does integrative mean?
'Integrative' means I have lots of different therapeutic styles in my toolkit, which I flex to suit your needs. You may generally be feeling stuck in your life, or at a cross-roads, or you may be lacking purpose or drive. Or you may be going through a particularly tricky time and be looking for a safe, non-judgemental space to unpack and talk through specific events to help you make sense of them.
Whatever you have to bring, I commit to listening and helping you to make sense of things, so you can find the best way forward for you.
How do I work?
I work quite creatively, and in addition to straightforward ‘talking therapy’ we may work with your dreams, through creative expression such as art, or exploring your internal landscape through meditation and visualisation techniques. A combination of these techniques is usually used to help you achieve the results you are looking for.
My therapeutic style is active and dynamic - I tailor each session and always provide a safe and nurturing container, but will gently challenge and hold the mirror up where appropriate in the spirit of your psychological development and growth. The key thing to remember is we always go at your pace.
If you are looking for coaching, please be aware the fee structure is different to therapy, as is typical session length and frequency of sessions.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
