About me

I am a registered Dramatherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.
What is Dramatherapy?
This is an alternative approach to conventional talking therapies. This approach uses creative techniques, such as use of metaphors, stories, role play, embodiment and use of props to explore personal issues.
I have a background in Counselling since 2002 after I qualified with a Bsc Hons in Counselling and Psychology at Roehampton University. I have further-developed my practice by completing a Professional Certificate in Criminal Justice, Level 4 Professional Certificate Work And Guidance with Young People, FPA Post-Graduate Certificate in Delivering Sex and Relationship Education to Young People, MA in Dramatherapy and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision in 2014 (Individuals and Groups), On-Going Child Protection training.

As a Clinical Supervisor, I specialise in working with Therapists and Professionals working with clients who are in Private Practice and/working within the context of Education, Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Social Services, Substance Misuse and those working with BME clients.
I deliver Clinical Supervision to Psychotherapists', Counsellors, Creative-Arts Therapists', Trainee Therapists', Social Workers, Teachers (including SLT), Mentors, Youth Workers, Keyworkers and School Counsellors.

I work in accordance with the updated Data Protection Act 2018, which states that all data received will be stored safely and securely within encrypted files and hard-paper copies will be stored in a locked filing cabinet when not in use. All mobile devices will have a unique password and will be backed-up securely using an accredited service provider.
All previous Skype clients will now access online Therapy and Clinical Supervision using Zoom in stead of Skype to ensure security and to meet the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulations.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Clinical Supervision are between 1 - 2 hours. Fee £70
