About me

Hi there. How are you? I am a registered Dramatherapist, Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

What is Dramatherapy?

This is an alternative approach to conventional talking therapies. This approach uses creative techniques, such as use of metaphors, stories, role play, embodiment and use of props to explore personal issues.

I have a background in Counselling since 2002 after I qualified with a Bsc Hons in Counselling and Psychology at Roehampton University. I have further-developed my practice by completing a Professional Certificate in Criminal Justice, Level 4 Professional Certificate Work And Guidance with Young People, FPA Post-Graduate Certificate in Delivering Sex and Relationship Education to Young People, MA in Dramatherapy and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision in 2014 (Individuals and Groups), On-Going Child Protection training.

As a Therapist, I specialise in working with the following:

  • Children aged 8 years up to Adolescence
  • Adults
  • Self Harm

  • Panic attacks and anxiety
  • Race-Related discrimination
  • Trauma
  • Mindfulness
  • Attachment
  • Relationships
  • Self Esteem

  • Gang-affiliated issues

As a Clinical Supervisor, I specialise in working with Therapists and Professionals working with clients who are in Private Practice and/working within the context of Education, Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Social Services, Substance Misuse and those working with BME clients.

I deliver Clinical Supervision to Psychotherapists', Counsellors, Creative-Arts Therapists', Trainee Therapists', Social Workers, Teachers (including SLT), Mentors, Youth Workers, Keyworkers and School Counsellors.

To have an initial chemistry session, please drop me an email with your name, stating whether you at looking for Therapy or Clinical Supervision and an overview of the issues you would like to explore.

I work in accordance with the updated Data Protection Act 2018, which states that all data received will be stored safely and securely within encrypted files and hard-paper copies will be stored in a locked filing cabinet when not in use. All mobile devices will have a unique password and will be backed-up securely using an accredited service provider.
