About me
Book a FREE 20 min chat to see if I'm right for you!
Firstly Welcome. I am Jodun and I have worked with adults, children and young people struggling with their mental health since 2009. I have worked for the NHS, schools, mental health services and taken referrals from social services and post adoption services. I have a specialism in attachment, early trauma, depression and anxiety.
Where are You at Right Now? Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or low in mood. There may be a significant event that has caused these feelings or perhaps you don’t know why you feel the way you do. Trying to manage difficult thoughts and feelings alone can be challenging and they might be affecting how you are behaving, relating or engaging with life. The good news is you are wanting change and looking for help.
How can I help? Together we can work in partnership to consciously slow down to really see what is going on for you and why you are feeling the way you do.
Psychotherapy can be helpful in exploring and understanding why you think, behave and feel certain ways. Art Psychotherapy adds another dimension allowing for thoughts and feelings to come to the surface, and be captured in a visual way that doesn’t rely on finding the right words. It does not require any skill or interest in art and can feel less intense than pure talking therapy.
You may be really keen to try a different form of therapy like art psychotherapy or you may not feel comfortable and just want to talk. Whichever way we work we will find creative ways for exploring and analysing difficulties you are facing. We can use themes to guide the therapy, if needed, and draw from other modalities such as; mindfulness, EFT & somatic tracking.
I will provide you with a safe, trusting and confidential space. Our relationship will give us an insight into your experiences within other relationships. We can then explore these in a safe way that you might not have been able to do before.
What could the benefits be?

What is the Therapy Process?
- We start with a free 20 mins chat to see if I’m right for you.
- We have a 50 min consultation and identify difficulties and goals.
- We book in weekly sessions at the same day and time.
- We reflect regularly to see how the therapy is going and if we are heading in the right direction.
- When you feel your goals are met then we work towards an ending.
What to do now?The first step to decide if you’d like to work together is to give me a call or an email. We will then arrange a free 20 mins chat before booking a consultation.
