About me

I have extensive experience working with both adults and children, providing support to individuals facing various emotional challenges. I have helped clients with relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, phobias, self-harm, sexuality, autism, ADHD, exam stress, bereavement, addiction, anger management, eating disorders, and more.

I am also experienced in domestic abuse and trauma counselling, supporting clients who have experienced different forms of abuse. Additionally, I have provided guidance to individuals participating in 12-step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous.

My training and integrative approach allow me to combine different therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual's needs. I am a qualified Understanding Your Eating Practitioner with expertise in working with eating disorders.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients, upholding the ethical principles of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Regular supervision ensures the quality of my practice.

Working via online video and telephone sessions allows me to offer flexible and accessible counselling options to my clients. It enables individuals to seek support and guidance from the convenience of their own homes or wherever they feel most comfortable.

If you feel I could be the right counsellor for you, please reach out via email or phone. I offer a free initial phone assessment and am eager to assist you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
