About me
I am an experienced Arts Therapist (Drama) and Systemic Practitioner skilled at providing short and longer-term therapy for individuals, couples and families (adults, children and young people).
My Approach
I combine different types of therapy and tailor them to suit your particular needs. Sessions are currently available via Zoom and offer a confidential, interactive and non-judgemental environment where individuality is respected regardless of age, ability, gender, culture, background or sexual orientation.
My approach enables you to consider issues in the wider context of your relationships and life events. It helps you to identify beliefs and patterns of interaction that may be stuck, unhelpful or in need of change. It can also include the therapeutic use of images, objects and narratives. This allows you to reflect more deeply upon difficulties and situations, and express them in ways that increase understanding, release tension and reveal new possibilities for change.
I adhere to the HCPC codes of conduct and ethics.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
Beginning Therapy
As it is important to find a therapist you feel able and happy to work with, I always begin with an initial consultation. This allows you to meet me, find out more about how I work and talk with me about why you are seeking therapy. At the end of this session, or afterwards if you prefer, we can decide how and if we will work together.
