In light of Covid 19 following the government guidelines around social distancing I am unable at present to provide face to face sessions but will provide telephone support and online support as I value the importance of individual mental health and well being and in these uncertain times I want to support you with social isolation, help you move through the stages of grief and loss, the feeling of being completely overwhelmed by anxiety and fear. The counselling process
The counselling process is time away from your usual daily life where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace in a safe and confidential setting. Part of this process is looking at your past and making links to what is happening in your life now. I am a good listener, emphatic and trustworthy. I understand how difficult talking through traumatic experiences can be, I am here to listen. I will not judge you; I will not make you feel scared to discuss what’s happening around you or how you are feeling during our sessions. The importance of counselling is you feel comfortable to access counselling, you are able to feel comfortable to talk openly to me about how you are feeling and what you are thinking. Sessions are for 50 minutes and these can be block booked or week by week. The first initial session will be free of charge to enable you to see if you connect with me and you feel comfortable to start your counselling journey. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
