About me

We all get to a point in our lives where we realise that there is more to the life we are experiencing. One of the ways to shift into that new chapter is to find a space to explore the things that have been holding you back. While it may not be easy, therapy is the way to do this authentically for lasting results. I walk alongside my clients as we take the time to uncover things that have been difficult to face alone. We create a safe and confidential space that encourages self awareness, growth and alignment with your true self.

My training and experience allows me to take the time to understand what style of support suits you best. Working integratively, I am equipped with knowledge that to be flexible in my approach and remain focused on your needs at all times.

The next step is often the hardest and also the one that brings new choices and new directions. Finding the right person and feeling safe to speak about your deepest thoughts is something I believe is very important to your journey. Contact me to find out if we could take the next step together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with Lambeth College. During training my placement was with the UK's leading culturally sensitive service and I spent the full two years there seeing clients in their long term, low cost service.

Previous to that, I have always been in the helping profession with one of my first roles being a Support Worker with a well known UK Charity, Mencap back in 2010. I have then since worked with the NHS and in other private organisations delivering support to those in need.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
