About me
You know your life isn’t where you want it to be, but the next step feels unclear.
Maybe your mood changes unexpectedly, your self-confidence is low, or you find it hard to make decisions, set boundaries or communicate your needs. These patterns can feel impossible to break, and talking about them may seem daunting. But finding the right person to listen can make all the difference.
I'm Jannelle, and I've walked the path of feeling lost and confused, just like you. Together, we can untangle those confusing thoughts and feelings, and heal the wounds of your past that may be affecting your present.
What’s my approach to therapy?
My approach is integrative, which means I use a combination of therapeutic techniques to best suit your needs. As a trauma-informed therapist, I focus on how early experiences shape your current behaviours and relationships. My goal is to help you explore what’s going on beneath the surface and build a positive, empowering relationship with yourself.
Example of areas I work in:
- Childhood trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-esteem/ confidence issues
- People-pleasing tendencies
- Relationship difficulties (intimate, familial & non-romantic)

What happens in our sessions?
In our sessions, we’ll uncover the root causes of your struggles and develop practical tools to manage them. Thinking about past hurts can be painful, so we work together in a calm, non-judgmental, and authentic space where you’ll feel truly seen and understood. With each step, we’ll move at your pace, making sure you never feel alone in facing life’s challenges.
Ready to take the next step?
If you're ready to start this journey, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to help you feel more confident and in control of your life.
I offer a free 15-minute video or telephone consultation to discuss if we’re a good fit. Contact me to take the next step toward healing and growth.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Lambeth College. My integrative approach allows me to adapt to the diverse needs of clients, tailoring therapeutic techniques to individual responses.
My extensive experience with the NHS, various organisations, and charities has shaped my practice in private therapy. I use a trauma-informed approach to help clients get to the root of their issue and empower them to develop healthy, compassionate relationships with themselves.
I work holistically, addressing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects to help realign fragmented parts of the self and foster healing and growth.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
