About me

Starting therapy can be an exciting but also daunting experience. I offer a safe and welcoming space, a short walk from Victoria train station and directly next to Pimlico underground station.

As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I aim to help you come to an understanding of how your unconscious and past experiences play a part in your current difficulties. Looking at how this influences your interactions with yourself and others. I work with people from a range of different backgrounds with varying mental health issues; offering a safe and confidential space for you to express how you feel, without judgement.

I offer both open–ended and time-limited therapy (12 weeks), with the opportunity to explore your current issues and gain insight on a once per week basis.

I believe in offering an open and empathetic environment for you to bring whatever it is that is troubling you. Whether that be anxiety, depression or any other mental health difficulty you may be struggling with.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). I have a Bsc (Hons) in Psychology and completed my professional training at WPF Therapy, a UKCP, BACP & BPC accredited course. My background is in mental health, with years of experience in psychiatric services as well as working with adults in my private practice.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
