Imogen Hg-Johnson (MA,MBACP Accredited, EMDR) Psychotherapist.
How do I work?
Do you struggle with commitment?
Maybe it’s with relationships or your work?
Perhaps for you, your struggle is due to working through past trauma?
Perhaps you struggle with making changes within your ‘self esteem and feelings of worth’?
Do you tend to easily quit when things are ‘emotionally challenging’?
If you’d rather remain in your ‘uncomfortable comfort zone, yet deep down you desperately want to break this cycle…
Before I tell you how I help people to get the results they want, let me explain what I don’t do..
Have you been offered therapy by your GP? Gone along and not really engaged with the talking, reflectiveness, or the ‘uncomfortableness’ of the feelings you experienced? Or the homework that CBT required you to complete?
Good news - I don’t do that!
Have you tried to access private therapy before and resented paying for an outcome you didn’t achieve?
Or maybe you didn’t connect with the therapist or felt like ‘talking yourself well’ didn’t resolve any of the ‘complexities, trauma and behaviours’ you were struggling with?
Good news - that’s not how I work!
It’s never too late to invest in a ‘Transformation Process’ not only do you invest within yourself, you really make a conscious effort to ‘commit’ to the therapeutic process and the changes you really need to make.
That’s how I work with my clients. It’s about giving you the support you need, in the way you need it, to get the results you want. Without homework or ‘talking yourself well’.
To invest in your ‘worth’ and to start to make a shift in your life, I’m inviting you to engage in a ‘complimentary discovery session’ with People of Worth.
You’ll be able to explore how a ‘Transformation of Worth Process’ can really work for you. I’ll explain exactly how I help people to get the results they want and I’ll offer some advice to get you started on the right path.

If you wish to go on a journey with ‘self ’ at the core of your being. Then look no further than the ‘Winch House’ at the ‘Windmill’ healing and therapeutic space.

I also work to a trusted assessment process and formulate a bespoke transformational journey that removes all blind spots, fear, anxiety, and self-doubt. Allowing my clients to make accurate decisions, smarter, so they maximize their own personal results in less time, feeling “free to be themselves” living the choices, the relationships and life they were meant for!
As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist trained to Masters Level; I utilise my extensive skills set of Person Centred Practice, Life Story work, Gestalt Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (CBT informed), combined with Transactional Analysis.

In short, this is your process, and it would be my pleasure to walk by your side.....
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
