About me

As a psychologist, I combine professional expertise and rigorous training with compassion and warmth, to support you with tailored, meaningful therapy.

I am trained in multiple therapeutic approaches to help with a wide range of difficulties, including low mood and depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, improving communication, low self-esteem, chronic health conditions and physical pain, trauma and PTSD, stress, burnout and bereavement. However, I do not see people as categories or labels; it is likely that you are looking into therapy because you have a mix of difficulties, or it may even be because you don't know exactly what the problem is. Whatever your needs, you're welcome to discuss them with me to see if I can help.

I have extensive training and experience in a range of therapeutic approaches. I have also undertaken my own therapy as part of my training, so I have experience of sitting in both chairs. When you start therapy with me, we will firstly discuss what you would like to get from therapy, and then I will draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to you and your goals. I tend to work to a medium-term session limit of around 16-20 sessions, as I find this helps clients to focus on their most important goals and feel that therapy is manageable (logistically and financially).

Therapy can be the most valuable gift we can ever give to ourselves and those around us; however, it can also be daunting and hard to know where to start. I believe it is essential that you feel comfortable and confident in your therapist, so if you'd like to have a brief chat to see if I am the right therapist for you, please feel free to message or call.
