About me

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel disconnected from others and ourselves. Have you lost touch with your true self? Are you overwhelmed by feelings of shame, or dealing with the effects of trauma in your life or relationships? I’m here to guide you through these complex emotions and help you rediscover your identity.

Hello, I'm Grace, a person-centred counsellor specialising in nurturing relationships, intimacy, trauma, and overcoming shame. I work with individuals and couples, providing a compassionate space to explore and heal feelings of inadequacy and rebuild your self-worth. Whether you're feeling stuck, seeking to enhance your intimate connections, or needing support through significant life transitions, I am here to support you with warmth and understanding.

Through a client-led approach, I focus on identifying behavioral patterns and emotional blocks that hinder your connections with yourself and others. My practice is rooted in compassion, aiming to help you release shame and embrace your self-worth. I employ a blend of traditional and innovative methods, tailored to your needs, including trauma-informed practices that honour your personal journey.

As an LGBTQ+ friendly practitioner, I respect and welcome all forms of relationship dynamics. My practice is a judgment-free zone where all individuals and couples are warmly welcomed.

For Couples:

Working with couples, I aim to enhance connection and communication. Together, we'll discover ways to cultivate kindness, understanding, and a fulfilling sex life, addressing any underlying resentments. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your bond or consider separation, my goal is to support your relationship’s growth and resilience.

Getting Started:

Contact me today for a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your unique needs.

Let’s embark on a journey toward healing and self-discovery together, embracing wholeheartedness every step of the way.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
