About me
Are you feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? Struggling to feel in control of your life? Do you lose sleep due to constant thoughts running through your mind? The image you present to the world may hide the internal struggles you're facing, and maintaining that facade can be exhausting. Overthinking and excessive worrying can leave you feeling drained and stuck. It's okay to seek help and take some time for yourself to work through what's going on with support.
You may be experiencing:
Emotional turbulence: Anxiety, sadness, mood swings, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection.
Navigating major life changes: such as divorce, separation, family estrangement, menopause, peri-menopause, or any other significant transitions—whether personal or affecting those close to you, can profoundly impact your health and emotional well-being
Relationship struggles: Challenges with your partner, children leaving home, or caring for ageing parents.
I truly understand the challenges you're facing. As someone who is part of the "sandwich generation" I can relate to the complexities of watching your children grow more independent while your parents need increasing support. It can be difficult to navigate this stage of life, wondering where you fit in and what your role or purpose is during this time of transition
What I offer:
Therapy offers you a safe, supportive space where you can openly express yourself. Therapy can help you feel better, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and enhance your relationships. With a holistic and empathetic approach, each session is tailored to meet your unique needs, creating an environment where you can truly be yourself—a compassionate space free from judgment.
I work with Transactional Analysis (TA), a therapeutic approach that offers a framework for understanding how past experiences shape the way we interact today. In therapy we explore your patterns that hold you back and work toward the life and relationships you desire.
Understand Yourself Better: You’ll gain insight into how you respond to life’s changes—your thoughts, feelings, and actions. We’ll explore why you react the way you do, especially during stressful or tough times, so you can feel more in control and less overwhelmed.
Handle Life’s Changes with Confidence: Therapy will help you adapt to new situations, manage big emotions, and build the resilience you need to face life’s challenges head-on.
Improve Your Relationships: We’ll work on better communication and address any patterns that may be holding you back from having the strong, supportive relationships you want—especially during times of change.
Build Useful Skills for Everyday Life: Therapy will give you practical tools to deal with challenges, communicate more clearly, and make lasting changes that will help you feel more confident and at ease, even when things are uncertain.
Whether you’re feeling stressed, dealing with difficult emotions, facing relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you create meaningful changes and start feeling more like yourself againTherapy Options:
I offer online therapy which means I can provide flexible options designed to fit your unique needs. Whether you're seeking short-term support to navigate a specific challenge or a more in-depth, longer term therapeutic journey, online therapy provides the convenience of accessing support from the comfort of your home. It’s a safe, confidential space that allows us to work together on your goals at your own pace, no matter where you are.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
