About me
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in your thoughts? Life’s challenges can sometimes feel too heavy to carry alone, and taking that first step towards support can feel daunting. I’m Erin, a BACP registered counsellor and life coach, and I’m here to walk alongside you in a safe, compassionate space.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and major life transitions, helping you build emotional resilience, confidence, and practical tools to navigate your thoughts and feelings. I also integrate CBT techniques and life coaching strategies when helpful, tailoring every session to your unique needs.
Having experienced frequent relocation through military life, I understand how major life changes, uncertainty, and periods of isolation can affect emotional wellbeing. This perspective helps me connect with clients facing similar challenges and transitions, while still supporting anyone navigating stress, anxiety, or personal growth.
I offer sessions online, by telephone, and face-to-face, providing flexibility to access support in the way that works best for you.
What I Offer
I specialise in supporting adults experiencing:
- Anxiety & Stress – feeling overwhelmed, tense, or constantly on edge
Depression & Low Mood – struggling to find motivation, energy, or enjoyment in daily life - Trauma – working through past experiences and their ongoing impact
- Life Transitions & Personal Growth – including relocation, career changes, relationship challenges, or personal development goals
I take an integrative approach, combining counselling, CBT techniques, and life coaching strategies tailored specifically to you. Every session is designed to meet your unique needs and pace, ensuring you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Working with me, you may notice:
- A greater sense of calm and emotional balance
- Improved tools to manage anxiety and stress
- Enhanced self-confidence and resilience
- Better understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
- Clearer insight into what you want from life and how to move toward it
I offer flexible sessions online, by telephone, or face-to-face, so you can access support in the way that suits you best.
You don’t have to face this alone. If you feel ready to take the first step, you’re welcome to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at Ocean Counselling Training, where I completed:
- CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
- CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
- CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
I also hold diplomas in:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Life Coaching
- Bereavement and Grief
- Understanding Domestic Violence and Abuse (Level 2)
I specialise in supporting adults with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and life transitions, integrating counselling, CBT, and life coaching techniques tailored to each individual.
I have significant experience working with visually impaired and blind clients, as well as victims of domestic abuse and violence, having volunteered with charities supporting both groups.
In addition, having lived a military lifestyle with frequent relocations, I understand how major life changes, uncertainty, and periods of isolation can affect wellbeing. This perspective helps me support clients navigating relocation, life transitions, and significant change with empathy, understanding, and practical strategies.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
