About me
As an Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor I am interested in your feelings and where they come from. I come at counselling from an holistic point of view as I believe it is all connected. To me the importance of finding each person's uniqueness is paramount.
The type of counselling I offer takes you on a journey of self discovery. I have faced many difficulties and challenges in my life but believe this is how we grow as human beings, in fact I believe this makes me a better counsellor.
I use various creative 'tools' to find answers to the issues causing you concern. I will go at your pace as sometimes finding out about oneself or experiencing things from the past can be hard but believe me in the long term it is very rewarding and freeing as you will start to be in control of your behaviour and life choices.
I work with all ages and believe you are never too old to have this kind of therapy. It is soul searching. I offer counselling on several issues from: child abuse, infertility, addictions, anxiety, depression, self-harm, loss and bereavement, unemployment, anger, illness (particularly cancer) loneliness, abusive relationships and low self-esteem.
I am particularly interested in helping people to re-connect with themselves which could have been lost or indeed never have been found.
I want to help you let go of old emotions which are no longer working for you and help you find some kind of peace, which can be different for all of us.
