About me
At times, people can feel overwhelmed by events in their lives. You may feel anxious, confused, depressed, alone or struggling to make an important life decision. You may be troubled by something you don’t understand, or something in your life isn’t working out as you want and you can’t see why or how to change it for the better.
Trying to make sense of such events and feelings can seem too difficult on your own, and this is where counselling can help. I am a qualified BACP Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works with adults (18 years or over) on a one-to-one basis in central Warwick or via Skype or telephone. I offer a relaxed, collaborative, non-judgmental and above all safe space for you to explore your issues and difficulties.
I am also a qualified Life Coach, which means I can help you to overcome your challenges, achieve your goals and make positive changes in a structured and practical way. Because I’m trained in both disciplines, you can opt for counselling or coaching or we can use elements of both approaches as needed. We will discuss this together as appropriate.
I have experience of working with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, sexuality and gender issues, relationship issues, grief, work-related stress, abuse and other life-changing events.
Although, I mainly work in a person-centred way, I use whatever counselling or coaching styles will be most helpful to you. Working together, I aim to help you to understand yourself better, to see things more clearly, to find your own solutions, and to regain a sense of balance and purpose. We will work at your pace, and be guided by what you choose to talk about.
If you feel I may be able to help you or you have any questions, please visit my website or contact me for further details.
