About me

At times, people can feel overwhelmed by events in their lives. You may feel anxious, confused, depressed, alone or struggling to make an important life decision. You may be troubled by something you don’t understand, or something in your life isn’t working out as you want and you can’t see why or how to change it for the better.

Trying to make sense of such events and feelings can seem too difficult on your own, and this is where counselling can help. I am a qualified BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works with individual adults (18 years or over) on a one-to-one basis in central Warwick or via Skype or telephone. I offer a relaxed, collaborative, non-judgmental and above all safe space for you to explore your issues and difficulties.

I am also a qualified Life Coach, which means I can help you to overcome your challenges, achieve your goals and make positive changes in a structured, dynamic and practical way. Because I’m trained in both disciplines, you can opt for counselling or coaching or we can use elements of both approaches as needed. We will discuss this together as appropriate.

I have experience of working with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, sexuality and gender issues, relationship issues, grief, work-related stress, abuse and other life-changing events.

Although, I mainly work in a person-centred way, I use whatever counselling or coaching styles will be most helpful to you. Working together, I aim to help you to understand yourself better, to see things more clearly, to find your own solutions, and to regain a sense of balance and purpose.  We will work at your pace, and be guided by what you choose to talk about.

I also offer Reiki (energetic healing).

If you feel I may be able to help you or you have any questions, please visit my website or contact me for further details.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
