About me

I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor; my interest in counselling started with leading peer support groups for people with long term illness and fertility issues. I am trained in transactional analysis (TA), which is a humanistic approach that promotes personal growth and change. During my training, I worked with a charity for carers and a local hospice. I am interested in the intersection of mental health and financial problems.

As well as working with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression and life events such as loss, illness and relationship problems, I have an interest in complex trauma/ personality disorder. Whether you are seeking to explore difficult life events or conflict within relationships, I offer an empathic non-judgmental approach as we work together towards your goals.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic counselling and am an accredited registrant with NCPS.

I am trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) and have 3-4 years of experience working with adults either individually or as a couple. I work in person and online as well as on both a short and long term basis.
