Do you sometimes feel anxious and overwhelmed, struggle with your self esteem, or feel that your worries are living ‘rent free ‘ in your head? Are you happy in your relationships?
You can share whatever you choose to bring to your sessions. Past experience and trauma can manifest as problems with anxiety and depression in the here and now. The Client-therapist relationship offers a unique opportunity to explore our habitual patterns, emotional processes, relationships and better ways to communicate. We have the capacity to change as a result of new awareness.
Currently I work on line and offer video or phone calls. Both short term and open ended therapy sessions are available. Most clients choose a series of six weekly sessions. I am experienced in supporting people with depression, anxiety, trauma, transgender issues, domestic violence, addiction and terminal illness. I have a warm compassionate approach and will support you in pursuit of your aspirations, meeting challenges, and coming to decisions about how you want to live your life.
It takes courage to embark on this journey. Whatever brings you to counselling we can explore together.
Taking the next steps...
To book a session, you can give me a call, send me an email or even send a text if you prefer.
Once I have contacted you for an introductory call, we have agreed a time for your counselling session and I have received your completed contract and payment, I will make a video call or phone call to you - whichever you prefer. At the end of our 50 minute session you will have the option to book again at the same time the following week.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a PG Dip in TA (Transactional Analysis ) and am a member of UKATA. I am a TA practitioner and integrate other approaches when this is helpful.
In addition to counselling I have had several years experience of working with personal injury clients, homeless men and women, managing care provision in the community and providing end of life care.

UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I have experience supporting people with terminal illness and choices about their end of life care and when possible , where and how they would like their death to be prepared for.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £50. I will send you a link to an app called ‘OSU’ which allows payment to go directly from your bank account to my account securely. Payment is required 48 hours before each session. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your booked session. Giving 48 hour’s notice of cancelling means you won’t be charged and your appointment can be offered to somebody else.
