About me
Internationally recognised psychotherapist, trained in Goldsmiths College in 2002, who has worked in London, Singapore, and the UAE. Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and has been published in a peer-reviewed journal looking at strategies to assist with communication and emotional regulation.
Feeling stuck can be frustrating, but creative thinking approaches can help us be more open to different ideas and perspectives. I provide innovative and effective solutions to life's challenges in a safe place, empowering people to become more confident, move forward thinking, and be kinder to themselves.
I provide a creative solution to life's challenges, being informed by psychotherapy, creative psychotherapy, CBT, and solution-focused approaches. With individual psychotherapy services to children, adults, and families. Sessions provide a safe therapeutic space combined with a non-judgmental approach.
We can enhance our capacity for growth by working through feelings, building our resilience, and improving our emotional regulation. This can increase our confidence, unlock our potential, and help us be whole again.
Due to high demand session times are booked depending on availability. Therapy is a place to take time out for yourself, explore, and be comfortable in one's skin.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified from Goldsmiths College in 2002 and I work with children and adults with challenges such as attachment difficulties, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties, providing techniques for stress management and emotional regulation. I have experience working in London, Singapore, and the UAE, and my approach is informed by: psychotherapy, creative therapies, mindful approaches, CBT and DBT skills, and solution-focused therapy. I am a trained CATT practitioner for PTSD and CPTSD. I work with foster care agencies with looked-after children. I also conduct self-development workshops, social prescribing therapeutic programmes, and provide employee well-being services for organisations.
I am a researcher who has recently published an international journal article on neuro-diversity, emotional regulation, and communication. I am also interested in the importance of the mind and body for working past trauma.
