About me
Welcome, I hope by reading this page you will feel curious and wondering how I would be able to assist you and your needs. I am a Person-centred therapist and passionate about my job. I am committed to working with safety and care when dealing with your troubled experiences.
I offer a confidential space for us to build a relationship of trust with mutual respect, aiming to explore and work through any difficulties you may be facing. My approach is nurturing, I feel I am culturally capable of working with a diverse range of people from different cultures.
My experience comes from offering therapy in a college located in Hove and from charities in Eastbourne. I gained knowledge offering support families dealing with miscarriages and baby loss, infertility issues, anxiety, fear, depression, guilt, trauma, low self-esteem, menopause, families issues, co-dependency, depression, religion, relationships, loss, bereavement and grief.

My experience comes from offering therapy in colleges and charities in Eastbourne including Muma Nurture and The Old Bank Wellbeing.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I follow the professional ethical framework of counselling, it helps me to offer a secure base to work with my clients.

Our first steps will work towards creating a safe space and building trust and respect in our therapeutic relationship. I work with my clients in an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
The sessions will be tailored to your own needs, I will make suggestions based on what I feel will benefit your growth, I will respect your autonomy and welcome your views. I might challenge you from time to time, this will create an opportunity for growth and self-awareness.
