Sometimes we can feel quite broken, as though everything has fallen apart. Life has brought about unwanted change in a relationship and you might be feeling lost, confused or even angry. Perhaps you sometimes feel lonely wondering how you got to this point, wishing that things could be different but not knowing how to achieve this. Or perhaps you look back on a relationship and feel that you have been harmed or are being harmed by it and you no longer want this to be the case.
If either of these feel like you then I can help you reflect on what has happened/happening, learn what you want and what you need from that relationship and how you can protect yourself in the future. Helping you to feel stronger, more confident and more in control.
I am a warm, caring and deeply empathetic person. I work in a pluralistic style, which means that we talk about your desired outcomes for therapy and I tailor the methods I use from different counselling schools to help you to achieve this.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

When I work
I currently work Tuesday to Thursday 9.30 to 2.30
Where does Counselling Take Place?
I work purely online so our sessions can take place from the comfort of your own surroundings with no travelling time. I offer a free 15-minute introductory video call so you can see if we are a good fit and whether our diaries match. I can be contacted by email.
What Happens in a Counselling Session?
The way I work is that I see people on a weekly basis. I listen and help you to become more aware of yourself, the positives and the more challenging areas. Through the relationship that we build, I hope that therapy can support you in making changes that you would like for yourself.
