I work with couples and individuals as I believe you know there are solutions to everything if you have space and support from a trusted understanding but professional therapist. I offer affordable, gentle but solution-focused techniques that work.
I have qualified professionally in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-centred Counselling, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, NLP Couple therapy and Mindfulness.
I have specialised in many areas, Anxiety & Depression, work-related problems, Drink and Drug Misuse, Bereavement & Couple Counselling - Please see the full list below of all issues.
I run Mindfulness programs to individuals & groups, and have trained with Oxford and Bangor University.
I've worked in drink and drug treatment centres, the homeless, and the public sector.
It's a deep privilege to be part of the therapeutic process, where clients arrive with difficulties, who eventually evolve, and are enlightened in themselves, reaching a positive sense of well-being.
I am grounded, real and spontaneous, with a sense of warmth and humour, clients work at their own pace, I encourage positive change and offer alternative ideas to problems, so you can choose individual and specific solutions to your needs.
I work within the NHS which has given me a depth of knowledge working in this public care environment.
Whatever your problem, give me a ring now, for an informal chat with no obligations, or text (078 0800 9978) or send an email (trishapoole@gmail.com) outlining your issues and your contact details, and when you're available to ring back.

Member organisations
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
