About me
Choosing the right counsellor is one of the most important steps in beginning therapy. I believe that healing starts with a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.
As an experienced Integrative Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Tutor, I have supported clients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. While I work with many presenting issues, I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing eating disorders, body image difficulties, anxiety, depression and work-related stress or burnout.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by work pressures, struggling with your relationship with food or your body, or simply finding life difficult to manage, therapy offers a confidential space to explore what's happening and develop healthier ways of coping.
I tailor therapy to each individual rather than taking a "one size fits all" approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs and goals.
Why Work With Me?
I believe effective counselling is built on four key foundations:
A strong therapeutic relationship Feeling safe, respected and understood creates the conditions for meaningful change. My priority is to provide a warm supportive environment where you can talk openly at your own pace.
Specialist Knowledge Alongside extensive counselling and supervision training, I have specialist experience working with eating disorders, anxiety, depression and workplace stress supporting clients to develop lasting strategies for recovery and resilience.
Professional standards As a registered member of the BACP, I work within its ethical framework, ensuring safe, confidential and professional practice.
Extensive experience With over 2,000 client hours, I have worked with adults and young people facing a broad range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling together with a Certificate in Clinical Supervision. Over the years I have worked with clients aged 13 to 80, supporting people through anxiety, depression, bereavement, eating disorders, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and work related stress.

Alongside my clinical practice, I teach counselling students up to Level 6 Diploma standard and remain passionate about supporting both clients and the development of future counsellors.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
