About me

I work as an Integrative Counsellor, using different methods of counselling to support your individual needs, offering in-person counselling sessions to adults aged 18-80+.

I am passionate about the practical benefits of talking therapy to help clients work through the emotional challenges that they face. We will work together to find strategies that support you to understand what is happening and how to create positive change.

As a client, you will set the agenda and I will meet you with compassion, empathy and acceptance. I strive to give my clients a safe and confidential space to explore ways to overcome their struggles with gently guided support.

My client days are Tuesday and Wednesday 10am - 8pm.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a level 4 advanced Diploma in Integrative counselling and postgraduate training in therapeutic skills as well as many years of training in Trauma based support. I have a lot of experience of working with families in Trauma and have also worked therapeutically for two local charities, including a bereavement charity.

I keep my knowledge and skills up to date with ongoing training, such as:

  •  Working with bereavement and loss
  • Working with intrusive thoughts and the critical inner voice
  • Working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse
  • Inner child work with adults
  • Supporting clients with Anxiety
  • Supporting people that self-harm
  • Taking therapy into nature
