Stuart Pemberton BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Reg MBACP)
My aim is to provide you with a trusting, caring and non - judgemental environment in which you can share your thoughts and experiences. By walking alongside you through your struggles and working with your feelings I will provide support to help you to help yourself in moving forward with your life.
As a life coach I can also provide support for you through your dilemmas, be they workplace or domestic related, to help you become more effective, efficient and ultimately to reduce anxiety.
I provide counselling from your home address or, as an alternative, we can work outdoors through ‘walk and talk’ therapy. The walks I currently utilise are:
Amberswood (Hindley)...Pennington Flash (Leigh / Lowton)...Windy Bank Woods (Glazebury / Leigh)...Moses Gate (Farnworth)...Rivington (Horwich)...Lilford Park (Leigh) and Borsdane Wood (Hindley).
I provide a free telephone or 'in person' initial meeting during which you can decide if this counselling style is right for you and if you feel we can work together. I look forward to getting to know you! My clients are from Westhoughton, Wigan, Leigh, Horwich, Atherton and surrounding areas!
I have worked for a number of years, supporting young people in schools and colleges as well as providing adult training and workshops in conflict resolution and coaching related issues.
I hold advanced dbs clearance.

£30 per session with concessions available for students, pensioners and unemployed. £40 for couples / relationship counselling
What can you expect from our first session?
I will explain to you the type of therapy I offer and you will have the opportunity to express any concerns and state, if you wish, what you expect from counselling. We will discuss the confidentiality of our relationship and both of us will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Then we will be ready to work together!
With couples/relationship counselling I will ask you both if you have goals and individual expectations in preparation for our first paid session
