About me

Let’s take the first step

Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes it’s hard to understand why we get stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others, therapy offers a safe space to begin untangling these challenges.

I’m a qualified and BACP registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, working both in-person and online with adults and young people. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, offering you a non-judgemental, inclusive space to explore your thoughts and emotions at a pace that feels right for you.

How we work together

Our sessions will be a space where you feel truly heard, seen, and understood. Together, we will:

- Work through the emotions that feel difficult to process.
- Explore the experiences and relationships that have shaped you.
- Make sense of patterns that might be holding you back.

This is a reflective process that we undertake together, guided by curiosity and care. It’s about developing greater self-awareness so that you can make more conscious choices that align with who you truly are.  My integrative approach and extensive experience allow for a tailored approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.

Clients often share that therapy has helped them gain new perspectives, relief from emotional overwhelm, anxiety and depression and a clearer sense of themselves and their relationships. You may find renewed ability to connect authentically with the world around you, fostering a deeper trust in your ability to face challenges and embrace the possibilities of a more fulfilling, meaningful life.

What to expect next

Our work together can be time-limited or open-ended, depending on your needs.

We start with a free 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit. This is simply an opportunity to share what’s bringing you to therapy, address any questions you may have and discuss how we might work together.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it’s also the beginning of something transformative. I’m here to walk alongside you as we move toward greater clarity, growth, and fulfilment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
