Hello, I’m Silvia.
I am an integrative counsellor providing a warm, trauma‑informed space in Bushey and online. I specialise in adoption, neurodiversity, and creative, relational therapy for adults, young people, and children.
I see my practice as a quiet space where you can slow down, take a breath, and unpack whatever feels heavy or confusing. If you are feeling overwhelmed or lost, you are not alone—many people come to see me feeling exactly this way. We will work together gently, moving at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you, creating space for deep reflection and emotional relief.
As a bilingual therapist, I also welcome sessions in Slovak or Czech. Being able to speak the language you grew up with can offer a unique sense of comfort and safety, and I am glad to support you in whichever language feels right.
You don’t need to have all the answers before you reach out to me. Often, healing simply begins by connecting with someone who listens.

About My Training & Experience
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). For you, this simply means that while our time together will feel gentle, warm, and informal, it is fully grounded in professional ethics and a deep commitment to keeping you safe.
Alongside my private practice, I work with schools through Hertfordshire County Council. Spending time with foster parents, looked‑after children, adopted families, and neurodivergent individuals has shown me just how important it is to tailor therapy to your unique emotional and sensory world.
My path has also included meaningful work with the Road Victim Trust and Signpost Counselling Agency. Whether you are navigating deep trauma, bereavement, identity struggles, or anxiety, I have a lot of experience holding these heavy spaces with patience, care, and understanding.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
