About me

Hi. I am Sarah. I am a  qualified and registered integrative counsellor with over 5 years  experience in Private Practice. Before being in private practice I worked for various charities and organisations over the years.

I originally qualified in Organisational Psychology and worked in an Investment Bank in London in a very fast-paced environment. It was after this I decided to go into Counselling Psychology and completed my post graduate in Counselling Psychology and my postgraduate diploma in Counselling.

I am fully aware of how tough life can get in today's society. Be it, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, fighting with our spouse, self-esteem issues, feeling lost and stuck and feeling like we are alone in figuring this all out. This is where I can help if you reach out. I have extensive experience and qualifications to help you in becoming 'unstuck'

If you are feeling lost, depressed, anxious, stressed or just stuck, please give me a call or send an email, and together we can find a way forward.

I have trained as an integrative therapist which means I will use various methods, psychological models and tools depending on your individual needs. I offer a warm and non-judgmental space where together we can explore your current thoughts, feelings and presenting issues and work together to move forward.

I work online via Zoom I have had training in online therapy and can assure you it is just as effective as face-to-face therapy as long as you have a quiet private space in which you feel comfortable.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
