About me

I am able to offer once and twice a week therapy sessions for adults with emotional and relational difficulties. I am predominately psychodynamic in my approach, however I have been trained in a number of other models.

Trauma such as neglect and psychological, physical and sexual abuse that has been experienced in early childhood can leave lasting, painful difficulties. Often these relate to problems such as struggles within close relationships, intimacy difficulties, becoming easily overwhelmed, needing to have control in many situations as well as experiencing anxiety and depression.

Being able to work at a deep emotional level is paramount in starting the journey to heal.

I specialise in working with women who are struggling during pregnancy, have experienced traumatic births and women who are anxious or have feelings of not being able to cope both pre and post birth.

I also work with people who have experienced baby loss.

I am a fullly qualified EMDR therapist and can offer on-line and in person session.

I am happy to talk further with anybody who feels that they would like further help. Do contact me via email and I can arrange a time to speak with you.
