About me

I'm a professional qualified integrative Counsellor, who is MNCS registered. I have worked within the NHS sector in different positions for the past 20 years and provide a safe, non judgmental, confidential, and professional service situated in a Multi Disciplinary  Therapeutic setting in North Cornelly, Bridgend and a private setting in Margam.

I use a variety of theoretical approaches in my practice to assist my clients with their presenting difficulties including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Humanistic models. I recognise every client is unique so adjust and use models appropriate to meet their needs, allowing my clients many ways to challenge and work with their current issues in a way most conducive to their personality, thoughts and presenting mindset.

My aim is to allow my client to widen their lens, to understand their stressors and challenges and to work on strategies together, to break through their barriers they are facing in order to create acceptance and or to increase self awareness and feel stronger, and to have a greater compassion for themselves, which in turn will create change in their lives.

I am very passionate about my position and feel extremely privileged to listen to and to be a part of my clients' journey from a position of confusion and anxiety to a place of hope and well being.

I have excellent feedback on my service and have seen my clients shift from their initial assessment of negativity to over a period of long or short term work, depending on their needs, leave with hope in their current and future lives. Regaining their autonomy and taking control of their lives.
