Sammi Nisbet Dip Counselling & Psychotherapy. MBACP & COSCA
I am a fully qualified and experienced person centred counsellor and psychotherapist. Online and telephone sessions are available due to the current situation.
I can offer you a confidential and safe space for you to explore and process your thoughts and feelings. Sometimes life is hard and can be a struggle. We may look fine on the outside but be hurting on the inside.
Counselling can help.
Distressing life events can make it difficult to cope. Depression, anxiety, low self esteem and general sadness can take hold of us. Talking to a counsellor can enable you to deal with your problems so that you can begin to find your own way forward.
I can help you work through these feelings.
I am available for consultation online through Zoom and with telephone sessions until government recommendations change.
I am a member of BACP and COSCA and work to their code of ethics.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I have trained with Rape Crises Scotland and am able to help if there has been a rape or sexual assault. Any form of sexual violence is not acceptable and can be difficult to process. I am here to listen and help you work through your feelings. This also applies to child abuse that you may have experienced in your early years.
Our sessions will last 50 minutes and we would aim to meet up at the same time each week for as long as you need.
Sessions are £40 per therapeutic hour.
Please call, text or email to arrange a suitable time to meet.
I have professional indemnity insurance cover of £5,000,000
