About me

My primary approach is Person-Centred which means I will listen to you without any judgment and explore the world you perceive in a safe and tentative way adhering to professional and ethical boundaries set by the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society), so that you have the time and space to work out what you need to, in the knowledge that whatever you say is will be fully confidential and private in my personal and private practice room.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic and understanding place for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions as well as be there for you to manage these in a safe and confidential environment at my private practice in Kidderminster. I do also offer home visits if required too but can be discussed on initial assessment session.

Further information

Sometimes, things just get a bit much – maybe it feels like there is just one thing after another, you’re on a treadmill – it just seems never ending. Are you struggling to cope with the challenges that life is throwing at you? Have you suffered a bereavement and feeling alone, sad, worried, scared about the future? Are you struggling to deal with the loss of losing that someone or something you were close to you? Maybe your relationships are proving to be a challenge.

They don’t need to be and you don’t have to accept feeling like this is a way of life. Many people are realising the benefits that counselling and psychotherapy can bring. It might be a cliche, but it’s good to talk. You don’t have to struggle alone.

The first session is half price we believe it is important for you to feel comfortable, safe and secure with the counselling process – whether it be either short or long term. This initial session will also have an assessment process to help us to identify your needs and appropriate support. Once you are happy to continue with a second session, we can set goals or even just see where the therapy takes us over the time you choose.

Testimonial

"Thank you for helping me come to terms with the death of my late husband. Your counselling skills and kindness were just amazing. I felt able to talk to you about things I hadn’t talked about with anybody else. Keep up the great work that you do!
