About me

Hi! I am a fully qualified, BACP registered Counsellor and Creative Therapist.

I work with either talking therapy alone (traditional counselling) or a blend of talking & creative therapy - whatever suits your needs best.

I offer in-person counselling in Bristol (Westbury On Trym, BS9 & Pilning BS35), online counselling via video call & telephone counselling. I also offer walk & talk therapy for those who enjoy being out in nature. My service is available to Adults & Young People (age 16+).

I am very accepting and easy to talk to; people describe me as open minded, non-judgemental, compassionate and curious. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

I have experience in supporting clients through a wide range of issues such as;

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Confusion
  • Fear
  • Anger
  • Neurodiversity (ADHD, OCD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc)
  • Emotional Disturbances
  • Behavioural Issues
  • Traumatic Experiences
  • Personal Relationship Issues
  • Self-Identity
  • Existential Crises
  • Spiritual Awakenings
  • Unclear Thinking
  • Creative Blocks & much more!

My aim is to provide a service that is effective, focused on you and encourages self-understanding, growth & healing.

Why Creative Therapy? - Because spoken words aren’t always enough for what we need to say. It doesn’t even mean you have to “do any art” either!

There are many ways to explore creatively that don’t involve drawing, painting, etc.

For me, it means working “in the moment” - with what you choose to bring to each session and the inspiration we find together.

I offer 1 hour sessions from comfortable and private rooms in both Westbury On Trym and Pilning, Bristol.

Free initial consultation!

Online booking available.

Feel free to contact me with any enquiries, or visit my website for more information.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
