About me

I am an integrative and relational psychotherapist, with experience in a range of different settings, which has led me to appreciate each individuals unique journey, and the environment in which they live.

I aim to be alongside you, providing a warm, compassionate, and supportive space where you can explore your inner world and individual concerns. I have experience supporting people on their personal journey with anxiety, depression, addiction, disordered eating habits and relationship challenges. I offer short-term therapy and long-term, open-ended therapy in Wimbledon and online.

The trust built between therapist and client provides the foundation for exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviours in areas of your life that you find challenging. I have supported people experiencing many forms of anxiety, whether that be from relationships, body image, health anxiety, identity, relationship OCD, social anxiety, life transitions or eco anxiety.

The way we think and feel about ourselves influences how we relate to the world around us. It is easy for our sense of self and connection to be lost when dealing with challenging life events. I aim to provide you with the safety to explore your relationship with self and others to aid healing and develop healthier connections. I believe that by providing the right environment, everyone can heal, thrive and flourish in their journey through life.

My approach:

Using a relational and integrative approach, I tailor the counselling to your personal needs. Approaches that I use are cognitive-behaviour therapy, humanistic, transactional analysis, mindfulness and the mind-body connection, gestalt and psychodynamic. I am a member of the BACP and abide by their ethical guidelines.

My experience:

I have supported clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and relational challenges. I have experience working in the NHS and within private healthcare settings, where I have supported adults with their general mental health, eating disorders, and addiction.

At the start of my career I worked in a marketing environment and understand the pressures of the corporate world, and how working to a busy schedule can leave you with little time to pause and reflect upon your own needs.

I continually update my practice and work on my own development to support clients. I am currently studying on a masters programme in Eating Disorders and Obesity. I am also engaging in ongoing studies in Ecotherapy, to further explore our relationship with the environment, and the psychological healing that can take place within nature.

Where therapy takes place:

If you would like in-person therapy, I work from a therapy room in Wimbledon, which is a 5 minute walk from Wimbledon train station and the district line. It is also easily accessible by bus routes 157, 131 and 93. There is parking nearby.

I am available for online therapy every day of the week. I also offer telephone therapy if you prefer this method of communication.

I offer outdoor therapy on Wimbledon common. I have availability from Monday - Saturday for these appointments.

If you would like to know more about the way that I work and how I could be of support to you, then please feel free to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
